Community Fundraiser for
The Connective Coop

Saturday, September 25th
4pm - 6pm
Central Park, Cedar Hill Lawn
East 79th & 5th Ave Entrance
Practicing self-care is a radical act these days. When we are called to push forward without pausing and grind on without a break it's a radical act of self-care to claim the time to deeply care for yourself. In this workshop you'll learn accessible, mindful movements to guide your body deeper towards relaxation, practical tips to build or enhance your personal restorative practice, and expert tips on how to use what you have to rest and restore.
And you'll be supporting future community programming and the new platform upgrade for
The Connective Coop.

Here's what you can expect:
-
Learn practical ways to guide your body to rest through movement.
-
Get effective ideas on how to build your personal restorative practice with minimal props.
-
Practice accessible movements that you can take with you into your daily life for a momentary restorative break or include them in a longer practice.
-
Explore rooting and opening the body with accessible, fun movements so you can learn to guide yourself to rest when you need it most.
-
Lots of personal attention and individualized suggestions for your personal restorative practice at home.
-
Ultimately, we'll end with a lengthy restorative and Yoga Nidra practice at twilight in Central Park.
